Chalice
& Blade is a pagan vocal group from Vancouver, Canada– Wendy, Dennis, Sue
and Mojo.. We perform traditional Craft songs and original pieces based on the
beliefs of Wicca and Paganism. Our music reflects our spiritual tradition -
we sing songs which show our reverence for the earth and the balance of the

We all have different musical roots from choir to 70’s rock. We met singing pagan music and teaching what we knew, in chant workshops or good old fashioned campfire singalongs. We formed our original band, Parnassus, with some other friends, to bring all those chants and songs together and record them. Six years later – the four of us are Chalice and Blade.
All the songs on our new CD “Wild Hunt” are original. Mojo can play something wonderful on his guitar, and when we ask “what’s that?” he says “nothing… yet”. Sue can write a poem with way too many words in it. Wendy can see how everything would work, and hammer it, and us, into shape. Dennis, our laid back bass man, can play along quietly and then come up with a bit that makes it all fit. Our music isn’t all pagan, but it’s all from our hearts. From rocking to sentimental, from sacred to light hearted, we’re proud of it and we hope it touches you.
